Wilton CMGC served as the general contractor for the showroom build-out at 979 Third Avenue, overseeing the project from demolition through final construction. Our team managed the complete transformation of the space, beginning with the removal of existing mechanical and electrical systems and preparing the floor for a full interior renovation.
As part of the build-out, Wilton CMGC installed new fire-rated partitions, dropped ceilings, and soffits while coordinating structural blocking for future millwork and feature lighting. The existing slab was prepared and self-leveled to accommodate a variety of high-end flooring finishes, including marble, wood, and Versailles pattern flooring supplied by the client.
We also coordinated and managed all major building systems, including mechanical ductwork installation, sprinkler relocation and expansion, and electrical infrastructure for power, lighting, and emergency systems. Working closely with subcontractors and building management, Wilton CMGC ensured seamless coordination, quality craftsmanship, and efficient delivery—resulting in a refined showroom environment designed to highlight the client’s products in the heart of Midtown Manhattan.
